What it is, who fills it, and how a link ends up on it.

Who decides what appears here?

Members do. Anyone with an Inkwirely account can upload a list of pages, review what we read off each one, and publish the ones they want public. Nothing goes live automatically, and nothing is published without a real title and a description of its own.

How do I add my own links?

Create a free account, open the Bookmarks page, and drop in a text file, CSV or spreadsheet of your URLs. We visit each page and pull its title, description and tags, you fix anything you want to word differently, then publish. Each published link gets its own page here with a followed link back to yours.

Does it cost anything?

No. Publishing bookmarks is part of the free plan, and right now every new account also gets the article membership free for its first 3 months. You only pay if you want the wider editorial distribution network on top.

What keeps this from filling up with junk?

Three things. A page has to answer when we visit it, it has to carry a description of real length, and every submission is tied to a verified account rather than an anonymous form. Links that stop resolving are pulled, and accounts that treat the directory as a dumping ground lose the ability to publish.

Can I remove a bookmark after publishing it?

Yes, from the Bookmarks page in your account. Unpublishing takes the page down straight away and clears it from the tag listings. The link stays in your private list so you can put it back whenever you want.
